The powerful white-and-blue “Waves” design reflects iconic Japanese wave artwork found on 19th century decorative fusuma paper, which was lovingly collected in Japan by British diplomat Sir Rutherford Alcock for an 1862 exhibition in London.

Coir - derived from the husks of coconuts - is a natural and biodegradable fiber, an excellent dirt-trapper, and is known for its scraping abilities
