With its bold, eye-catching 70s style motif and colours, the pattern of this mat is based on a much earlier design. It is in fact a detail from Arabian, a plate from Owen Jones’s ground-breaking design manual The Grammar of Ornament. Published in 1856, the book was a compendium of all the best examples of ornament from different cultures and periods collated by the 19th-century architect and designer. All doormats in Entryways’ Victoria and Albert Museum Collection are available in two sizes. Every Entryways mat is designed and crafted to be stylish and functional.
